The BWLA Judicial Evaluation Committee (JEC) invites you to view its final ratings of candidates seeking election and retention in the November 5, 2024, General Election.
The evaluations are designed to inform the public and the courts of the overall qualifications of judicial candidates. The ratings are thoroughly screened by the BWLA JEC, with final Board of Directors approval, based on the following criteria:
- Integrity, legal knowledge, and ability;
- Sensitivity to diversity and bias;
- Character, impartiality, and integrity;
- Temperament;
- Diligence and punctuality;
- Health and age.
Please note that BWLA’s ratings serve as a guide and are not an endorsement of judicial candidates.
